COUNCIL PRESIDENT KEVIN MATTSCHECK        

Kevin moved with his family to Reading in 1980 and has been fully engaged in the community ever since. He attended Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and graduated from Reading High School in 1995. He and his family – wife of 20 years, Mary Ann and children Braden (17) and Brooklyn (14) live on Trailridge Drive. Formerly employed for over 20 years in pest control, Kevin has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the past year and a half. 

Kevin is a familiar face around Reading. He and his family are active parishioners at Our Lady of the Valley Church where he and his wife serve on the festival planning committee. He is also a member of the Knights of St. John International; Reading, Ohio Commandery #59. Kevin’s father, Roger was a volunteer fireman in Reading and Deer Park. Kevin remains a member of the Silverton/Deer Park Firefighters’ Protective Association in remembrance of his Dad.
